Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Mixmaster Throwdown (MMTD) handles personal information across our mobile apps and mmtd.com. It covers both the MMTD guest app and the MMTD Staff app.

MMTD is a brand of Mixmastered Records Inc. Our apps power Tuesday live music nights at Terrace Cantina in Oak Brook Terrace, Illinois: RSVPs, tickets, Apple Wallet passes, and guest accounts. We collect only what we need to run those features. We do not sell your information, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
What we collect
MMTD (guest app)
- Email address and name: to create your account, sign you in, and confirm your RSVPs and tickets.
- Phone number: used for account verification and event-related messages when you choose to provide it.
- Purchase history: the events you RSVP to, tickets you buy, and Wallet passes issued to you, so we can show your activity and admit you at the door.
All of the above is collected only to provide app functionality (account management, RSVP, ticketing, and entry). It is not used to track you across other apps or websites.
MMTD Staff app
- Staff name and email: used solely for staff login and to identify who scanned a ticket or checked in a guest.
The Staff app is for authorized door and event staff only. It does not collect guest data beyond what is needed to validate a ticket at check-in.
How we use your information
- Create and manage your account, and sign you in.
- Process RSVPs and ticket purchases, and issue your Apple Wallet pass.
- Admit you at the door by validating your ticket or pass.
- Send you confirmations and event-related updates for events you signed up for.
- Provide customer support when you contact us.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking. We do not run third-party ad SDKs.
Third parties we work with
Stripe (payments)
Ticket payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay, your card details go directly to Stripe. The MMTD apps never see or store your full card number. Stripe handles card data under its own privacy policy and PCI-compliant systems.
Apple Wallet (passes)
When you add an MMTD event pass to Apple Wallet, the pass is delivered through Apple's Wallet and push services so it can update (for example, event time or entry status). Apple processes this under its own privacy policy.
These are the only third parties that receive personal data, and only the minimum needed to deliver payments and passes. We do not share your information with data brokers or advertisers.
Data retention
We keep your account information and purchase history for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service and meet legal or accounting obligations. When you delete your account, we hard-delete your personal data from our systems (see below). Payment records held by Stripe are retained under Stripe's own policies and applicable financial-record requirements.
Your rights and account deletion
You can access, correct, or delete your information at any time.
- Delete your account in the app: open the MMTD guest app, go to Account → Delete Account. This performs a hard delete of your account and associated personal data.
- Prefer not to use the app? Submit a request through our support contact form and we will delete your data for you.
Deletion is permanent. Past tickets and Wallet passes tied to a deleted account can no longer be used for entry.
Not directed to children
The MMTD apps are intended for adults. Events are 17+ and the apps are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us through the support form and we will remove it.
Security
We protect your information with industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data protected and limit access to authorized staff only.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the effective date above and post the new version here. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be communicated in the app where appropriate.
